ARE LENSES SOLD AS PAIRS OR INDIVIDUALLY?
Our lenses are sold in pairs (1 left and 1 right) or as 1 full-frame shield lens as applicable. The price listed is for the full set. 

CAN I PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER?
Yes! We have a full custom programme for models Rydon, Agon, Tralyx and Fotonyk. Generally the lead time is longer to makes these up so expect delivery to be 10-15 working days and in most cases its faster then this.

WILL YOU BE ABLE TO SEE MY EYES WHEN WEARING MULTI LASER LENSES? 
In most situations, the reflective coating will hide your eyes from view. However, in strong backlighting your eyes may be slightly visible.

Multi laser Red, Multi Laser Blue and Multi Laser Orange lenses feature a reflective mirror finish on the outside of the lenses. When your looking from the inside out you will be looking through a neutral grey finish.

HOW CAN I TELL IF MY LENSES ARE POLARIZED?
There are a couple of ways you can test this:

One way is to hold one lens in front of the other so that they're parallel. While looking through the back of both of them, rotate one so that the lenses cross like a “t.” At a certain angle they will black out.

You can also hold the lenses in front of a computer screen. Tilt the lenses back and forth at 90° angles, and if polarized, they'll darken as you rotate them.

ARE PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES POLARIZED? 
Our Impactx lenses no matter what colour tint are NOT polarized. The biggest request for photochromic lenses is having a BIG range from clear to dark when activated by UV light and adding a polarized filter will automatically change the range of photochromic to a grey tint to a darker tint thus training early in the morning would end up be very dark to look through

WHAT IS THE RANGE OF PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES MEAN?

Photochromic Black - 75% at its lightest to 9% at its darkest tint. (0% means you cannot see out of the lens)
Photochromic Laser Black - 63% at its lightest to 13% at its darkest tint.
Photochromic Multi Laser Red - 75% at its lightest to 9% at its darkest tint.
Photochromic Red - 75% at its lightest to 9% at its darkest tint.
Photochromic Brown - 75% at its lightest to 9% at its darkest tint.

WHAT PHOTOCHROMIC LENS IS GOOD FOR ME?
Photochromic Black and Laser Black are neutral grey tints and is good for road cycling, triathlons, road running
Photochromic Red's and Browns are  contrasting tints and are good for MTB, Trail running, skiing, golf, tennis

ARE IMPACTX LENSES IMPACT RESISTANT?
Yes, all RUDY PROJECT IMPACTX lenses are impact resistant, meeting the impact resistance and guaranteed unbreakable for life. Polarlized and Standard RPOptics lenses are not intended for high-impact sports and are not designed to be industrial safety eyewear. In saying this all Polarized lenses and Rudy RPOptics lenses are super tough polycarbonate lenses. 

HOW DO I INSTALL MY LENSES?

I HAVE SCRATCHED MY LENSES, WHAT CAN I DO?
Rudy Project offer the REPLACEMENT LENS GUARANTEE for scratched lenses, no matter what the reason.
We can replace scratched lenses with models that are in the current years catalogue. 

IMY MODEL IS OLD, CAN I STILL GET REPLACEMENT LENSES FOR THEM?
R We generally keep replacement lenses for a number of years after they have been discontinued BUT sooner or later we run out of lenses and spare parts. Models such are Kerosene are no longer supported.

Ordering Information & Concerns

WAS I CHARGED TWICE?
Your credit card will only be charged once.

If you just placed your order and you received an error at first, the second charge you are seeing is an authorization. This is a common bank practice handling credit card transactions to ensure sufficient funds and account authenticity. This authorization will clear (depending on your bank, usually within 48 – 72 hours.) If you need help speeding up the process, you can contact the issuing bank of your credit card.

I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN I ENTER MY SHIPPING AND BILLING ADDRESSES. WHAT'S GOING ON?
If you are receiving an error message, there may be a problem with your credit card information, billing or shipping address. The billing address should match exactly what your bank has on file. It is most likely an issue with your billing zip/postal code. Please review all information closely and look for any typos. Also, try re-formatting the names and addresses in your billing information (this often solves the issue).

MY ORDER WON'T GO THROUGH. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you're still receiving an error message after reviewing your credit card information, billing and shipping address, make sure you're using the latest version of your web browser.

If you continue to receive error messages, please contact Customer Support.

I NEED TO CHANGE SOMETHING ON MY ORDER. HOW CAN I DO THAT?
If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately with the subject line “Request to Change an Order” We generally process orders within 1-3 hours, and once our warehouse has processed your order, we will be unable to make any changes.

WHERE IS MY ORDER CONFIRMATION?
Once your is processed, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address you entered on your order. If for some reason you did not receive an email, please check your spam folder and add info@rudyproject.com.au to your safe sender list.

If you have an account, you can also check your order status by signing into your account on our website. If you checked out as a guest, this information will not be available on our site. However, you’re welcome to contact us, and we'll look into this for you.

WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal.

DO I HAVE TO PAY SALES TAX?
Only if you're having an order shipped to Nevada, which is where our warehouse is located. We are required by law to charge applicable sales tax in the states where we have a physical presence.

CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER I PAID FOR ONLINE THROUGH THE RUDY PROJECT FACTORY OUTLET?
WWe can in most cases hold your order for collection at the Rudy Project Factory out in Sydney if your in the Sydney basin. It would be best to contact CUSTOM SERVICE first before placing your order so we can stop it from being shipped

PRESCRIPTION LENSES

CAN I ORDER PRESCRIPTION LENSES THROUGH RUDY PROJECT DIRECT?
Rudy Project Australia do not accept orders for prescription lenses as yet but we are planning on offering this service in the future. For the time being you can purchase frames, clips, docks and take them to your local optometrist to get your scripting done
